The grapes for Kik-off Gris come from a plot that Francesco owns in Banyuls, it is made mainly of Grenache Gris, with tiny amounts of the other Grenache which are naturally co-planted there. \u003cbr\u003eThe vineyard faces to the North and has a cooling influence from the neighbouring mountains, allowing for full maturity, yet preserving acidity.\u003cbr\u003eAfter a week of maceration, the wine continues to ferment in old barriques, until bottling takes place after 10 months.
